Debunking 'Plandemic'

— ZDoggMD reacts to "crazy" viral video

MedpageToday

Here is ZDoggMD's takedown of "Plandemic" -- a viral video promoting a bizarre conspiracy theory involving controversial researcher Judy Mikovits (?), Anthony Fauci, and COVID-19.

Watch the video above or read the transcript below:

Hey, everybody, it's Dr. Zubin Damania aka ZDoggMD. About a million people have sent me this clip "Plandemic" about the conspiracy with Fauci and Dr. Judy Mikovits. I got to admit I am shook. After having watched the whole thing, I am shook that Americans are so fricking stupid as to take even a second of this horrible garbage conspiracy nonsense seriously. Really? You guys want me to sit and debunk this garbage? What is wrong with us as a people? What's gone wrong with our education? What's gone wrong with our common sense?

The first five seconds of that video reeks of crazy sauce and no one can recognize that? It has millions of views. YouTube keeps taking it down, which you know I don't believe in censorship.

But guys, Judy Mikovits -- if you do a simple Google search -- you can find out the main claim of the video is that she was falsely arrested with no charges for like going against Fauci or something. No, she was arrested because she took -- stole -- equipment, notes, and data from a lab that she was fired from. She's a PhD scientist.

She was known for, in 2009, putting out a paper saying that chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) was caused by a murine virus. It turns out that paper was retracted from Science when they realized no one could replicate it and her methods and science were completely shoddy.

Now, ever since then, she's been on a mission to try to prove to people that she's not crazy. This video does not help that. It is filled with the worst kind of InfoWars garbage conspiracy nonsense. It's a who's who of nonsensical thinking. They go, "And doctors have been saying," and then they show a chiropractor going, "You should drink tonic water." It's the same chiropractor that I've railed against.

They have a clip of the two Bakersfield doctors, "Why are they having us say COVID on everything?" Well, because you get paid more when you diagnose COVID. We already know that.

How does that prove this whole thing is some big Fauci conspiracy theory? This is crazy. Don't waste your time watching it. Don't waste your time sharing it. Don't waste your time talking about it. I can't believe I'm wasting my time doing this, but I just want to stop getting messages about it because it's really frustrating to think that people are this fricking stupid.

Really, you guys, like we don't have other things to worry about than a crazy attention-seeking person who is using this crisis to capitalize here? She's been at this for years. Go back. Go back. She's on Natural News and all the anti-vaccine sites. People say, "Oh, I'm just attacking her credibility and using ad hominems." Yeah, you should look at the credibility of the people who are trying to convince you that they're right when they don't have any science to prove it. Then you look at the credibility and you look at the people that they're associating with and they're citing, and you realize they are all non-credible lunatics.

Done, case closed. Stop talking about it. All right, guys? Share this video. I love you and we out. Peace. (Bleepin') stupid.
