Two medical study coordinators in Florida have been sentenced to prison after admitting to falsifying data to make it look like when they weren't, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). Former Tellus Clinical Research employees Analay Rico and Daylen Diaz will serve 40 and 24 months, respectively, and will pay about $2 million in restitution. Three others involved in the scheme were previously sentenced to prison time and three other defendants have yet to face trial.
